Vulture droids not fixed?

March 16 patch notes said that vulture droids should have been fixed to correctly assist... but it feels like they went the other way and are assisting less than they were before. Anyone having the same experience?

Were they assisting too much before and this is a fix? I've been using the Mally in SA since last August and it's effectiveness dived off a cliff after the update yesterday...

There is an open bug report:

But so far there has been some difficulty getting the dev to understand the situation.

Glad there is one, I couldn't figure out where to post on that forum... unbelievable that they can't see it though.
  • LOL'ing at people saying that one's person's observations are not "data" because if it comes from a single person it's an anecdote.

That's not how empiricism works, people. In a scientific journal what makes something an anecdote or a data point is methodology, not the number of principal investigators on the grant application. Same here.

Now you may not trust that someone on the internet you don't know is actually following the methodology that they say that they're following, but that's a different issue altogether.

In short: if you're saying that it's not data if only one person collects the observations, you're just wrong.
  • The perception of this is that malevolence beating the "Galactic Legend Ship" is a bad thing so they "fixed" Malevolence to make it far less effective vs executor.

Even my rebels aren't assisting as often as they should though. (The AI doesn't seem to have an issue doing 47 assists every match though)

There is nothing wrong with using anecdotal evidence in the scientific method as long as it’s not the only evidence, the number of principle investigators as you call them is not the issue. One person collecting data points from a thousand different people is one thing, one person collecting a thousand data points from one source is an issue.

Nobody said one person collecting the data makes the data useless but one person presenting 8 or 10 data points in a pool of hundreds of thousands, collecting it in an uncontrolled environment with an unknown methodology and calling it conclusive evidence would not go over well in your grant application.

So on the final toll, can seps still beat executor? Asking for a friend.

Weirdly I've had no trouble in Grand Arena or Territory Battles, but no luck in Territory Wars. I'm sure it's a coincidence. But it's a very frustrating coincidence!

What territory battle involves attacking an Executor fleet with a Malevolence fleet?

Do you just mean you think all vultures assist properly in TB? Or just that Mal does fine in TB regardless?

I really hope this isn't you... because 80/40 my booty.

    https://swgoh.gg/p/864132618/

In the 2 seasons since this thread started, 0-3 vs Executor

In the few seasons before that, before I got put in timeout by swgoh.gg: vs proper 7* Exec fleets, 0-4; vs sub-par Exec fleets, 3-6

If that isn't you, please share your ally code. If your claim has any merit, I'd love to hear your top secret strategy that no one in my guild (or any top guild that I'm aware of based on streamers) has been able to discover.

These were the past 4 attacks vs Exec. Won 1 and facilitated a two shot in 2 others. The remaining I had already lost the GA if I didn't one-shot so I quit when it was obvious the outcome was not productive. 25% for a one-shot in this sample, 75% to one or two-shot, and one anomaly when my opponent had one shot my Exec so it didn't matter whether I two shot or not.

I feel like you're removing this from context. Not everyone in K2 has maxed all their crew, and 3/9 =33% so pretty close to the 40% I claimed. Plus you're ignoring the utility of being able to reliably 2 shot, which will be even more important with the changes to 3 fleets on D since we'll have to worry about setting a decent defense and being able to 2 shot exec now.

Maybe I misunderstood you. I thought you claimed you had an 80% 1-shot winrate before the bug and 40% after.

Also, that 1 win is not valid for discussion, imo, because Scimitar.
