Wake up!

I have spent 15 years in the game industry and 5 years as a director of a Special FX company and I have never seen a product as messed up as this one after an update.

-You have implemented a character and combat system without metrics.
If you did you would never have tried to "balance" your character pool based on speed and nominal damage without taking into account the health pool of characters in the equation. You would have achieved normalised characters on day 1, with synergy making sense in terms of strategy from day 1too. You would not end up with an even worse situation than before the update with characters such as the Royal Guard showing 22K Health+18K protection ( 40K health wall ) with gear 9 or Fives showing similar statistics. Or as another example with most of your attackers sitting on 2.5K damage uncrit on average at the exception of Rey, Leia and GS that deal as much damage as an entire 5 other attackers squad. Obviously your elite player base noticed it before you and now you are cursed with big troubles in 5min match arena balance, 5min being too short to knock down heavy health + protection team and ending up in a draw. No need to comment on the impact on GW feasibility. It is already incredible that you could release a new version of your game without spotting all this, so you better fix this kind of problems ASAP before facing a wall of complaints on forum and a lost of consumers who are in no way obliged to show the patience to cope with your nonsense.

-You have released a game without statistical analysis tools.
If you did have statistics you would not have left the Dooku situation creep for such a long time while a few elite players raised warning on what was going to happen in this very forum very early on. You would thus not have to deal with this massive threads about Dooku dodging leader issue and the frustration for thousands of players getting upset by RNG and tired of lack of diversity. You would already have noticed the overwhelming amount of Dooku lead teams on top 100 ranks of each server arena and in GW matches by simply checking the statistics of your character pool. Over 77 characters there is probably more than 2-3 leaders that should be competitive. And you should be the most aware person about the fact this is not the current situation in terms of diversity.

-You are confusing writing a game that you like with writing a game that people want to play. This is probably the worse thing that transpires from your posts. You must have noticed now that there is a difference between a PC MMO player and a mobile game player. Time constraints are a deterrent on mobile platform since the biggest part of the players play on those platforms with a limited time budget, whenever the opportunity rises at a pause or during a trip, etc.... Don't confuse them with PC MMO players who commit to time constraints by logging together 3 evenings a week at specific time to play 5 consecutive hours together with being on coms as a requirement. Those that were deeply upset about the time it took to finish a challenge after the patch speak for themselves and probably represent the silent majority of players that don't even waste time in reading the forum. So you should remember that every second while you decide to increase the time cost of progression ( like you did with gear 8 cost and the not yet implemented parts ) when you decide a change or when you are implementing your guild system and the guild exclusive content. You will bleed players if you dilute the play time required to achieve something or if you enforce time constraints by locking the progression of those who are simply not interested in being forced into time constraints, elitism and guild play in general. You are not the only mobile game available and there is only so far you can stretch consumers with the argument that this is a Star Wars IP.
