For this current GAC I attempted to use a solo wampa with omicron against a GG team. I went first got protection up and then never got another turn. Nor did wampa counter attack. There were no rebuffs on wampa either. Has anyone else had this issue?

Is there a DC where TL can't be resisted? If so you will get TL which means both that you can't counter and that the other side gets a ton of TM.

With the recent issues we’ve seen in game of Omicrons working where they’re not supposed to, or half working where they’re not supposed to, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are some residual omicron issues floating about the game. For example, in my GAC this morning, taking my oSavage against a CLS team, I got one turn, and then they killed Savage. Normally, this is an easy, no-brainer counter for me. Similarly, my opponent actually accused me of cheating after their oTraya wasn’t working as expected, and almost lost to a team it should have beaten easily (I don’t know which team it was).Not surprised to see other people have weird Omicron issues.

Now that you mention it, I did take a Wampa solo against a MM team in the last round, no DC on either team, and I lost. I thought it was weird but just put it down to really really terrible RNG (which can happen.) Hearing it happen to other people though, now I'm wondering.

I can tell that wasn't pretty match because Wampa cannot heal himself without any hits.. Every hit misses because Blind in that dc can't be resisted so no health steal for Wampa..
I need to learn to read those dc's

Wampa's basic cannot be avoided.

Not related to wampa, but I just tried using QGJ and my toons didn’t get foresight at the start of battle. Something is definitely up with omis

It is.

Well, typically it's a combination of RNG, not understanding kits, and faulty memory. Impossible to say what combination this was.

I saw a few recent posts on Reddit aswell where people feel like some Omicrons are not working correctly all the time. There was the bug with the Poggle Omicron where it worked everywhere, maybe when they fixed it something else got bugged with Omicrons in general.

Had a similar experience and was wondering this as well. Any chance the recent fix to the wandering omicron issue could have been a little over aggressive?

Thank you for starting this discussion. My Wampa lost all 3 rounds this past GAC to MM teams! And one of the MM teams was not fully relic’d. I thought I was losing my mind!

Never had problems with Wampa vs MM and this round lost it too...

Wampa vs the standard MM team dropped from an 83% win rate to a 71% win rate between season 36 and season 38. So it's still working for most players, but there was a meaningful drop.

Every kit related bug I've heard of has affected 100% of players, so I doubt it's a bug. Most likely is that the expiration of datacrons has weakened some players Wampas, and the addition of new datacrons that affect light sided characters has strengthened some MM teams.
