Wiggs will fit into an ok Mothma team later, but getting Mothma now would leave your Leia with no where to be, as she is not a rebel fighter. She would still hand out some great buffs to the team, but Mothma lead really needs all RFs to be worthwhile. And her best team won't want Wiggs.
So for where you are now I'd say Wedge lead is an easier short term investment. Ackbar or Jyn would be a better lead for leia though.
