They need to significantly increase the cap and/or add more rewards. I'm in the same position, I have to spend on stuff i don't need just to stay below the cap.
And if they want to keep the store a weekly refresh, make the mods rotate more frequently because the RNG on the secondaries is makes most of them worthless unless you have a specific need (like 0 speed for Merrin) so you end up staring at 4 mods that you won't buy for a week.
