Infliction health down when he has advantage has nothing to do with a critical hit, so it would still put health down.

Yes I would think even with advantage you will not get a critical hit. Will be an interesting interaction when it happens.

If it works anything like foresight, it should not allow the crit but also not consume the advantage.

But foresight doesn't allow the strike which is why it doesn't consume advantage. Crit avoidance does allow the strike which will cause advantage to be consumed, and just not allow the crit to happen.
