What have you got against Executor CG?

I got a nerf herder sitting with Exec in number 1 just chilling since July.  No Leviathans yet.  I have 4 more Impulse Detectors to obtain then Admiral Raddus will go R9.  Can’t wait to hit him with Profundity and kick his smug fleet.  

I don't know what CG has against Executor, but I'll tell what my problem is with Exec. My problem with Exec is that some douchenozzle in Fleet Arena who only has 1 of 3 GL fleets (Exec) climbs at ridiculous times (15, 20 hours ahead of their payout window) and I get knocked down to the teens, which means I now have to do 4 battles to get to 1st instead of 3 or 2. This person can do this because Exec can beat Leviathan and most people in top 20 have Lev on defense. It's just this one silly opportunist who, for no good reason, climbs when his payout ISN'T close. 

Nerf it into the ground, I say. Nerf it so hard it can't even smell Leviathan's exhaust fumes, so that this one smoothbrain stops knocking me down to 16th place when their payout time is 20 hours away. 

On topic: are you unaware that off-meta counters are like, a thing in SWGOH? If H1 with B-wing can beat Exec, that's a new off-meta counter. I'm amused by how players swing between demanding viability for off-meta and demanding that CG protect their GLs from off-meta depending on which kind of matchup annoys them that day.

I haven’t used either against the Executor, (lower Relic lvl player here), but I definitely agree it’s a trap! Was disappointed with the strength of the composite-laser beam.
