What is an “undersized” squad?

Is it less power level or fewer characters?

I once LOST a Grand Arena match by 1 point, cause I killed a 5 person squad with a 4 person, cause I needed an “undersized” accomplishment... it was NOT worth it.... that 5th team member cost me the 5 points for full health plus 5 points for protection.... thus lost the arena match..... so what does “undersized” mean exactly?

Less characters and you have to win the battle for it to count. You get points for having less characters

Clearly it means Jawas and Ewoks.

(But really it means less than 5).

Best bet, run a CLS, Han, Chewie, GK squad and fulfill the Hello There and Feat at the same time

Oh, interesting! I didn't know fleet battles contributed to the undersized squad tasks. Wish I'd known that when I was doing the progress quests. But good to know for the future.

I started with the General Kenobi and Han Solo quests, which require undersized squads using those specific characters. So by the time I just needed to win undersized generic battles for whatever the multi-stage quest was called I assumed it meant only squad fights.

Yoda, Ugnaught, Jawa, Ewok, Astro Mechs - any combo of these toons is undersized.

On a more serious note, CLS/Han/Chewie +1 against any non-meta team is a very easy way to clock an undermanned win. It's how I got all the underman requirements for the Han, GK and Traya quests.

zCarth/Mission/Z/Ordo can also wear down and outlast most B-teams.

Interesting, unfortunately it did not give me the points for the empty slot, and it cost me the round. Maybe a change was made later in the scoring mechanics. This was a long time ago, but I have never tried a smaller squad since cause I did not want to get screwed again.
