What is done about hackers/how often are they banned?

So we have a hacker in Squad Arena and, not in my bracket but in another, Fleet Arena. I do not know if that player/account also hacks in GAC (and yes, there is no way that this player wins with their roster against all the other top teams in any normal way, the units are totally underdeveloped, and so are their mods, and as the roster is below gear 12 let alone relics, so  datacrons are not the issue either (top teams have datacrons and relic teams with propper mods). 

I reported the hacker, over a month ago, but this person/account is still there every day getting top places with a roster which is in no way capable of beating the teams it beats.

I guess it just takes a while for EA/CG to do something against it, but how long does it usually take until they ban those players?
