- its so people at least have a chance to record a 0 score before it gets completed within 6 minutes.
before the wait time guilds launched the raids and asked members to wait 24 hours etc before damaging, but at times people never bothered to wait the time asked and hit a full solo meaning others never got any rewards.
now with the wait time it gives people 24 hours to at least hit a 0
not sure why they didnt just set auto join for all members and give them all 0 score from launch to make it better tbh - The more people join the raid, the more rewards for the guild as a whole. You really want as many guild members as possible join the raids instead of launching it and then finish it after 10—30 minutes with only a few guild members receiving rewards.
- Da_Bauers7 years agoSeasoned AceAre you referring to the "join" period or does the Guild still require a "zero damage" period even after the join period ends? Because if it's B, that's just ridiculous. The whole point of the join period is so everyone in the Guild posts an automatic zero in case they miss the raid.
@LynnYoda I've wondered that too, and that's great idea. As soon as a raid with a join period launches, it auto populates the "joined" list randomly with every available Guild member. The only ones not automatically listed are those who don't meet the requirements. They're on their own to join if they happen to promote someone to 7* for instance. - ThorikB7 years agoRising TravelerFor Raids, the wait for posting damage after the timer expires is to allow folks to actually have a chance to hit the raid and improve their score as opposed to it being done in less than 10 minutes once the timer expires. When you've got a mix of folks who can solo and those who can't, it's really just to allow folks to get a score posted and not be subject to the completely randomized results of all the 0-tags.

Exactly - Yeah you have 24 hours to hit join so you post a zero. If you want to do better than that, these days in PIT you have about 6 minutes from go live before the first solo runs are done. With a 20 minute timer on solo posts, that at least gives others a chance to do some damage (or start their own solo runs)."LynnYoda;c-1704125" wrote:

No not referring to the 24hr wait but a situation where after the wait raid unlocks to fight but they want to fight hr later. Why wouldn’t they just adjust start time so when it unlocks to fight after the 24 join period. Everyone could go not complaining about people going right after 24 join is done?- Da_Bauers7 years agoSeasoned AceYeah that's ridiculous. If you want the damage to start later, adjust the raid launch time. Don't have a 24 hr join and THEN ask for more time with no damage. Officers need to launch raids properly & communicate clearly.

yes I tried saying that it doesn’t make sense to do that unless it takes a lot of effort to change start time. But I think is more of a power issue u know it unlocks but u better wait because I’m more interested in pit races than sith raids. I’m just focused on my progression but if I was progress further wouldn’t put up with it but to each his own.

This way you make it possible to 'preload' your first battle, where you will then have all the time you want/need to restart if you like until you make a 'perfect run'. Then when you are allowed to start battling (or registering your results) everybody, who preloaded, simply finish their battles all at once to register their results.- Yeah its so its not finished in 6 minutes / for those who cant solo with 1 team to give them a chance.
its pretty pointless tbh but some leaders / officers like to flex their muscles to prove what they say goes.
BTW if you want a different guild with less rules + better rewards let me know, no hassles all fun
