Agree with Credit Heist but I assume u are excluding that as that is just a bandaid event to fix their credit shortage.
Yoda and Palp type are by far their best events. They give you specific goals to work toward with a very nice reward. Problem is they have released all major factions and since game ha beens out for year now, Everyone will be able to get any new toon they release this way right away. When they dropped Yoda, it gave you a goal to work toward. So, I doubt we see this event anymore as it would basically be giving every long time player a 7 star toon unless criteria was gated by a new faction of which only recently released toons are part of.
Assault Events are nice but I feel like we used to be able to do all tiers of the event and not just two plays like in this droid one. Again, specific goals for team collections with a nice rewards on first completions. If they ran these on a set basis, people wouldnt complainfl about the low rewards after initial completion.
I swear for the Assualt events that you could do both tiers both times, so I suggest they bring that ability to do all tiers twice back.
I liked the challenges leveling up. They challenged your ability to beat an encounter using specific mechanics. And this concept, it is ultimately what games are about. For example, I had to use a stun team to beat savage and Mace. This is what games are about. Designing teams to beat a challenge. Raids could be this way if they didn't arbitrarily cap stuff and/or block progession when u "solve it." Rancor was broke because the solution was the same for all phases. AAT is good attempt at using this logic and split phases to have different solutions. However, their guild balance and accessibility for all guild types is still poor. The fact my guild is blocked out of heroic AAT due to having numerous leveling members is annoying and it's annoying when they jump ship when they do get cap cuz we tend to serve as a leveling guild not end game guild except for heroic rancor. These shouldn't be mutually exclusive concepts for a guild and the fact it took them two months to fix normal AAT means they are blind to this concept.
GW could be fun if they would finally address their broke algorithm and reward structure. When it was only source of credits, the penalty for failure was too high. The jump in difficulty using power is broke because power is not relational to team difficulty at all. It was tough till I got meta teams made. And it was damn near impossible on my Alt, when you can't Zerg P2P teams because you don't have enough toons leveling to zerg them. I was literally at max optimal for level since it was an alt. and some days was just tough to get through all 12 without tons of retreats. Retreats are not fun. Resetting RNG is not difficulty or fun. It's tolerable now cuz I can Wiggs to end and zerg the Rogue one node 12 teams.
I hate ships. The power algorithm again gives you completely irrelevant information and the battles are highly RNG dependent on the "target lock" mechanic proccing so your Biggs taunts.
