What bothers me is that the game continues to punishes you for enjoying a faction. I've been working on Galactic Republic for ages. I was actually happy when g13+1, +2, ..., +5, +6, g14 (aka relics) ...

The game makes money by requiring people to work on things they otherwise wouldn't work on in order to get the things they want. It always has, and that's not going to change just because it makes you angry.
