Way more than 1% of people have palp
true but I said that 99 % of players don't have both EP and ST, wich are the counters for Wiggs. And even if the number is higher, it is still dwarfed by the number of players who have Wiggs.
I'm F2P, started in April. I have EP. I don't have ST. I farmed up a Wiggs team, which helped me climb my arena board, and got me Palp when the event came back in December. I run Palp (L), TFP, Wiggs, Stormy in arena and consistently challenge for top 5 positions. TFP is a hard counter for many Wiggs teams. He's faster than Biggs, so equally modded, he goes first. Target Biggs to land the ability block on him. If the buff immunity hits Stormy, all the better. The only time TFP isn't a hard counter is if the Wiggs team is running Baze or Shore. In that case, a speedy Boba can be a hard counter.
I don't need Shore (who is in chromiums, and is arena viable at 3*), though it would certainly help me hold better. In the near term, Wiggs is going to the bench for Boba and RG.
As to why I would gear up a rebel team, and then gear up a dark side team, there are several reasons. First, teams are usable in different parts of the game -- Wiggs was a great part of my p1 Rancor team, and rebels are my p4 tank team. Palp and TFP are my p3 tank team. I use all different characters throughout GW. Second, at some point you finish gearing a character. Once you do that, you can either quit the game or start gearing someone else.
