Yeah that is my guess also. K2SO counter chance seems to have been taken from a scene from previews that didn't make it into the movie.

Depends on the material. With Star Wars anything, I would say a week, because if you call yourself a fan and it takes yourself more than a week to see a new SW movie, then you're most likely not a real fan anyway.

p.s. Someone will reply with, "but what if you're busy and don't have time?!" and my response is, everyone's busy, get over it.

Apparently he had a larger role before they reshot 40% of the movie

I dont think anything was really cut. He's the equivalent of Constable Zuvio from TFA, an intriguing background design they can show off without giving anything away. There was all these fan theories he was in cut material, and it turns out he was always a non-entity.

Also there was a dude in the suit at Celebrations (though I guess the head was animatronic)

Instead of Scarif rebel it could have been death trooper... He could even have the same abilities.

It was a lot more stupid to add him... A no-name character with rebel tag.... Could have been empire tag!! -.-
