Is there any evidence we'll be moving into the clone wars era next. We just had a bunch of clone wars stuff less than a year ago with gas and clone reworks and geo tb.

I'd say more clone wars content is a while off.

Though it is possible but the requirements would seem to fit a jedi Luke like event rather than a gl. Fallen anakin doesn't have a faction yet like fo. They could use empire but that doesn't really fit. More likely it would be more like the Luke event where you use ep 2 or ep3 characters. And we'd need more of them before they would do it. If we get a chancellor palp, then fallen anakin is coming.

It is just as likely they delve into another area of the lore. Like they did with kotor

I'd like to see a Yuuzhan Vong faction or a lost tribe faction. And a grand master Luke Skywalker Galactic legend. Maybe an abaloth or a Darth kyrat as the ds gl. Maybe legends jedi unlock luke. And lost tribe unlock Darth kyrat and then you have another event where you use both to get abaloth.

Kinda a fate of the jedi event.

If you’re looking for clone-wars era Galactic Legend, the best pick for dark side is easily Darth Maul, considering his development in the last season on CW and how prominent he is in Rebels.



However, I’m not sure where you’re getting this assumption of Clone Wars content inbound. The Devs specifically stated they were done with that era for a while.

With how slow they seem to be moving, I expect them to milk this “Episdode IV Celebration” until the holidays. I think we’re likely to see some empire faction toons from The Mandalorian, and upgrades to existing empire toons.

It should be from the somewhere in between TPM-ROTS. It could be Chancellor Palpatine and some other Jedi (maybe Kenobi or Mace). What would be really crazy would be to release the Son and Daughter from the Clone Wars but it might work.

Honestly, after what they pulled with the "2 month later buff", I'll be holding off on any GLs that are released for a long time. Especially given that they are now counterable with non-GL teams. Why waste that amount of resources?

The buff was weird, but I think it’s reasonable to have non-GL counters. The new meta characters are never that invincible.

I'm not sure why everyone seems to think Galactic Legends are supposed to be invincible and meta forever.

Sure they are a new class of character and they have some steep requirements but they will likely only remain meta for so long. Probably 6 to 8 months. At that point they will release a new legendary, journey, epic confrontation, Galactic legend, or completely new type that becomes meta. Just like they always do. The main reason that relics were required was because they use some characters that many whales already had so they needed to set the requirements high enough to make money.

But who's to say they won't release a slew of marques and a journey shortly after that becomes meta or at least a hard counter to SLKR. The line that anything that counters Galactic Legends needs nerfed because the whales need their money worth is getting old. You get a meta team for a few months when you spend on the newest journey and a useful team in other game modes for a few years . But you aren't getting an unbeatable permanent meta.
