Why all the new toons
Why are we being forced to chase new toons everyother week. Additionally, these are toons that are little known or not known at all. Then we have to focus on them for the new raid.

You must be new and missed the previous 3 raids (QA for Naboo, Leia for SBP, Jabba and Tuskens for Krayt Dragon)
And? Those who pay to keep the game free for the rest need an incentive to do so.
You aren't forced, you get free shards and the cadence is only a teeny bit different from before with new characters.
For the new raid if you bothered to check you'd know decent scores are obtainable with old characters and the new ones at low star / gear levels.
If you made the same effort with the game as you did complaining this would be a non-issue for you.
