Why aren't Lightspeed Bundles for New Accounts permanent in the Web Store?
The in-game store has been experiencing purchase issues for more than two months, and players are still unable to reliably make purchases. This is frustrating for players, but it also means CG/EA is potentially losing a significant amount of revenue.
Making the Lightspeed Bundles for New Accounts (Kylo supreme leader and Rey) permanently available through the Web Store would be a temporary solution that benefits everyone.
For new players: they would have a reliable way to purchase resources and accelerate their accounts, helping them catch up with the current state of the game.
For CG/EA: you would continue generating revenue from players who are willing to spend, instead of losing those purchases because the in-game store isn't working properly.
This wouldn't need to be permanent. Simply keep the Lightspeed Bundles available in the Web Store until the in-game purchasing problems are completely resolved.
New players want a faster way to catch up. Existing players want a reliable way to make purchases. And CG/EA wants to generate revenue.
