why can't we sell unwanted gear!!!

I think it's safe to assume you won't get alot of credits in return for you excess gear, making the entire option to sell gear futile.
The initial sale of all the excess gear build up over 2+ years of playing will probably kinda sweet, but even if it's like 30m orso it's still peanuts when you factor in it took 2+ years to accumulate.
so yea, i don't mind having excess gear. It might come in handy later on, you never know.
