Why can't you convert mk4 furnace into mk5? Or other 4s to 5s

I have hundreds of mk4 furnace and need mk5. Why can't i convert like 20 of them into 1 mk5? Or is there a way i don't know about

More importantly, transferring MKIV stun guns to MKV. That'd be amazing because the MKIV is used maybe 5 times total in the game, but every toon needs a friggin MKV stun gun.
