Why is everyone suddenly running Lumi?
Have I missed something? Or are people on my shard just strange?

Depends on when your shard started. If it's still early, then you're likely to see Lumi. My shard is from November and there is a lot of EP, ANI, HK-47, and Rex floating around top 100.
