If CG is looking to defend that their ToS are not being enforced 100%, then in a courtroom the next step from their liability perspective would be to give the reason and show that the reason was respected with their standard operating procedures.
- Even though their ToS says that, do they consistently treat cheaters a certain way.
- Even though their ToS says that, do they consistently treat people that flame about their product and break ToS a certain way.
- They penalize cheaters
- They penalize ToS violaters of a certain type that is in their interest, and they do it consistently.
- They could not be touched in a courtroom because of this.
- Ahnald knows this because he is a lawyer and made no mention of it. That's why he, a lawyer, is crying "no fair" in the media. He knows legally he has no ground to stand on so he is trying to gain traction in popular opinion.
I speculate that if CG is lenient on cheaters it must mean cheaters spend money.
If CG is harsh on Ahnaldt it is because Ahnaldt cisted them money somehow.

The main point that is coming out regarding this is that a group of cheaters were banned at the same time. The ones in the group that had spent more got a short suspension and the ones that didn’t got bans.
This is also after they stated they were treating all cheaters with perma-bans. That was dishonest and whether or not it was legal for them to do should not matter. The only thing that should matter is that they were showing us one thing and doing something entirely against that behind the scenes as it was in their financial interest.- Mephisto_style5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Rules should apply to everyone.
So, you're mad that most of the whales in the game are allowed to play? What do you think would happen if they actually banned everyone that fell under the account sharing?
Also, the rules *do* apply to everyone, it's just that everyone else is smart enough not to DM the head of cheating enforcement about a problem with an account they shouldn't be using.
Look rules especially rules on cheating are not really enforced especially if you pay CG a lot of money.
On the other hand if you get your hands on a kraken account and make youtube videos to promote the game that is a permanent ban offense and no negotiations will occur. One time and your done forever.
So we learned it's better to cheat and pay than to be critical of CG. Well some learned that I already knew it. People have been cheating for the longest time some guildmates cheated openly and were not even banned but they spent a lot of money so that provally influenced the decisions CG made.
If I was a non cheater whale who spent thousands and thousands to compete and found out others who we also spent got to cheat and pick their suspension time when caught I would be irate!!!
Luckily I've done my share of things over the years to help me progress like a p2w account while still being f2p.
I learned if I’m breaking the rules not to submit a bug report or my account will get banned"YOUniverse;c-2121805" wrote:

There is a difference between smoking a joint and calling the police and telling them you are trying to bring in a truck full of weed but you can't get across the boarder with it and want their help.- Gionidous5 years agoNew Spectator

You’re missing the part where the police allow people to choose their sentencing which is the entire reason this situation is blowing up the way it has. - Persimius5 years agoSeasoned Ace

Not sure why you need this to teach you that, but exactly this. I thought everyone knew this, as it applies to life. If you're going to shoplift, don't complain to the manager about something while you're doing it. "StarSon;c-2122554" wrote:

Hotsauce (HotUtils)
That’s human nature Hotsauce, it’s called moral hypocrisy.
Those guilty themselves point out others while taking a far lighter view of their own transgressions. We convince ourselves that the violation is not all bad, perhaps because others may benefit from it, or we remind ourselves of ethical actions we have recently performed.
Kind of like, I don’t speed in my car ever but you pulled me over today for doing 80 in a 45 but not the white BMW that passed me doing 110 because I was on my motorcycle."CoSrenegade;c-2121609" wrote:
