Why is it impossible to make something (anything) fun in this game anymore???

This raid is not the worst I've seen - after years I still fail to understand how the speeder bike one works lol. Sure, it could have been a lot better, more lore accurate, different paths as someone else suggested, and so on. But that's not the problem, these are the problems:

• No UI updates
• No old events revamps
• Old characters get a lifting only once in a while
• There are far too many different currencies, some of which haven't seen any new use in the shipments in years.
• No new Cantina, LS, DS or Fleet battles since forever
• Bronzium Datacards still need to be purchased one by one
• Territory Wars and Battles won't disdain some improvements
• We had to wait years for certain events to become simmable
• And I'm sure I'm missing many others

There are so many aspects of this game that feel abandoned. Yet, they continue to release tens of new characters each year and with every new event they continue to raise the bar of the paywall. Even the Galactic Challenges were updated only in the reward system and only because they came up with a new way to grab our money.

I wonder what plans they have for the game in the long run, aside from continuing to extort money.
