The bigger question is: Why is the auto-button so close to the retreat button? Can be pretty ugly in GW if you hit the wrong one accidently xD
Well it's not...
Why not? You can only retreat during your turn. If you accidently hit auto instead of retreat it could happen that your squad or what's left of it gets killed.
The gear above the auto button isn't the retreat button. It gives you the option to retreat which you can close easily. I have no idea what you're talking about.
They are talking about accidentally hitting auto when you intend to retreat.
Ahh, well in that case, be a bit more careful, but I've never had that problem in 8 months of playing."BastilaDhan;594443" wrote:
I know a guy who rage quits arena fights and makes good use of that button on particularly bad dodge days haha
He's not the only one. I don't tend to use that button though, I just force close the app. :D- like others have said, its a time saver when you're fighting a lost battle. I don't see the problem with retreating being an option in arena.

I, I am that guy. Hello friend.
Force close the entire game, you amature ragequiter! Better yet, throw the device you're playing on out the window! too much jedi, too little sith !!
:p- If I get a late start on my 5 fights and am trying to fit them in before payout I will sometimes use the retreat button if the fight starts of paticularly horrid enough that I have no way of winning just to get the timer moving for the next attack. No need to wast 3-4 minutes in a fight if I've lost it in 2.
- i know a guy....he did retreat 1 times at gw and 3 times at arena for months, wondering if he's still...playing
- PersimiusRising ScoutI did that once, too. I think it's unnecessary (auto works at least as well and still counts as a loss), but it's probably just part of the general UI design. No real reason to remove it.
Personally, if I know I have lost I usually just put the phone down and let it go to a draw, just to keep the other guy locked. - Sometimes I climb back to 1st with only 2 battles and need to get a 3rd one in for the daily activity. That's when the retreat button comes in handy
