Why the negative backlash for new shard farming update

Aside from the increased prices in shard shop I don't see why there's been so much hate for this update. I mean double drops for any toon that has been in the game for at least a year is great especia...

That “useless” gear does have uses if nothing but gear for the scavenger. Then there are small chances of getting useful gear as well (such as full MK3 holo projector and MK3 Carbanti). Then also the bigger source of extra shards is from the full chars. 10, 25, 55, and 80 shards is where a huge portion of shard shop currency comes from. Those full chars didn’t get a bump like everything else did.

With that said, I think it is a good change. Just wish they would have been able to fully double the shards
