Leef, surely you are aware that there are rewards for investing in other aspects of the game. Consider the person may need to continue to invest in arena or begin to suffer a loss of crystals earned. In six weeks, the amount of potential for cystals lost could dwarf the reward you speak of. Your simple evaluation doesn't do the situation justice.
currently my arena team is pretty much maxed. Before that i was only waiting on raid gear. Furthermore, having 5 insanely good characters, but the rest is mehh will hinder your progress in the long run. If you cant finish GW, you're screwed.
Personally i'm working on a scoundrel team, the sooner i can get those extra credits the more benificial it becomes. It wont influence my arena rank at all, but later on when the meta shifts or the lvl cap increases i have more oppertunities te stay competative.
