What a load of absolute disrespect. I bet the mod didn't even bother to read it. They looked at the title and couldn't care less that it had taken me over an hour to write it. I have a valid complain...

It didn't delete it. It just hid it from view until mods review it. Because immediately editing posts is something usually only done by maniacs, and hiding posts from maniacs until they can be reviewed by non-maniacs is generally a good thing.
Now, given that you immediately made a completely level-headed and non-maniacal post in response to your original post not showing up, obviously you aren't a maniac and this was a total error that will be soon fixed.
