And the argument about empire is silly too since even independent of CLS everybody should be farming empire to get R2 because R2 is a key character and extremely strong. Plus any new players who are 100% LS are going to find themselves in an even worse position when DS TB comes.
The fact that we get some crystals for free doesn't turn something that costs crystals into a f2p friendly farm. You might as well say "hey, you can get the vets f2p right now, just spend those free crystals you get buying them out of shipments!" Yeah, sure. Your calculation also doesn't account for the fact that this isn't one character. It's 2 already and who knows how many more they plan to release this way. Those crystal refreshes will be very expensive very quickly.
Complaining about how long a farm is slated to take doesn't mean you feel entitled to everything right away. It means you think the time frame is silly. Maybe in the end it won't take as long as they've suggested. But maybe if that happens, it will be in part because people expressed their frustration with how long they've suggested.
