Don't need to fracture gk. Take baze out of the equation. No counter attacks. No feeding chirrut tm. Fracture in baze will be amazing. And since he has the taunt, we can almost guarantee he is fractured.
No AOE debuff removing your own buffs with bonus damage on Empire - Baze is the OP one in the Chaze combo - having to deal with a solo taunt in Kenobi will seem like a breeze. Also, he won't be able to get any of the foresight from R2 or from GK's passive.
Also with no counter attacks, that means no slow down on your own team. So much of that team falls off when you are able to totally cripple baze like this. Then it's just a matter of shocking / buff blocking GK, pulling some CDs...and then you're free to FF and wipe these teams away.
Not to mention, R2's soft taunt (stealth) may also work significantly better now which lays down the ground work for teams without hard taunt, once baze is out of the picture.
Great point about the passive / soft taunt. Yeah Baze's ability to essential cripple the entire enemy's attempt to construct buffs tears down so many build possibilities. Soon as you build up buffs, he's getting TM to wipe them all away and destroy any tactics you setup. Then the dang thing has only a 3 turn cooldown...and in between he has another dispel!!! Baze is so much more tactically challenging than Chirrut - damage dealers and heal mechanics can be dealt with pretty well, but Baze's kit really takes away a lot.
What will be interesting too, if you're running DN and also DT, even if he comes out of fracture later - I would think he'd still have +2 on his cooldowns right? So his specials should be worthless for the duration of the match as DT / DN etc will be coming back around again later before he's even off the +2. An early fracture should essentially remove Baze from the match if you attack it right - 4 on 5.
