On defense, sure. On offense, with a fast R2, you can soft-taunt whichever sacrificial toon you'd rather have fractured at the start.
On defense, I have no idea who he will prioritize as a target for fracture (this is an instance where baze's pretaunt is harmful to himself and beneficial to thrawn). A tarkin lead thrawn should go before r2 can soft taunt the target.
I'm trying to decide if I want him faster than DT or not.
What would be the downside of him going before DT? GK proc'ing taunt? I think you want him going early before others use up their specials so you can keep the fracture long as possible.
Yep any buff or TM gain can cause issue. I think I want him to be 271 speed right behind DT. It might mean he won't always fracture Baze but he will hit gk and then I can just buff immunity Baze. My squad won't really gain any buffs so Baze will be a turtle anyway.
