Yeah time to make Revan disappear......a second rate character who doesnt hold a candle to Yoda or Kenobi needs to go away. Plus I feel like I'm going blind when I enter arena and see nothing but a white robed cult leader in every single spot
Um, he kinda single handedly won the entire sith vs republic war. (in addition to winning the Mandalorian war)
Did yoda do that? Kenobi? If my memory serves, they were both present and helpless when the sith took over the galaxy..
Seeing as, in canon, we don't know anything about those wars, he didn't do that either.
Screw canon. That gave us TLJ.
It also got rid of all the garbage from the EU. Also TLJ was good. It had dumb parts but literally every single Star Wars film has had worse.
Difference is, the other films also had good parts. TLJ did not have any of those.
Must suck to be you if you couldn't enjoy a genuinely beautiful movie that had at the very minimum excellent acting and a great storyline focused on Rey/Luke/Kylo. The rest was just filler but comparing that filler to AOTC and saying TLJ is worse is objectively incorrect.
If it was a genuinely beautiful movie, how come it has a 45% on rotten tomatoes?
Because people are sheep. Case in point, the steaming pile of garbage that is “The Wrestler” has a 98% because everyone was told Mickey Rourke did a marvelous acting job, when in fact he was just being himself. Then again maybe everyone just upvotes it due to the Marissa Tomei nudity?
Not sure if you know who the “sheep” are in this situation. I thought the movie was bad before I read a single review or saw the audience score on rotten tomatoes. I did see the critic score (a 94% I think) but I don’t judge how much I like or dislike a movie based on a number.- Stay on target! :) (I’m not a fan of TLJ story but that is a subject for a different post)
Is GG / Separatist gonna be meta? Possibly, don’t know his kit. There’s hope he stifles the Jedi. "Revan_Presence;c-1769690" wrote:

That would be an absolute nonsense.
Personally, so long as Grievous can counter Revan/Bastilla
Grievous should counter Nightsisters, as he actually did in canon. But NOT the squad with toughest Jedi of all time.
Typical JKR teams does include GMY and/or GK. GK was a canon hardcounter for GG, and GMY is even stronger as a Jedi.
There are a number of people around who bothered farming 11 toons (one of them from HAAT Raid) to assemble a team with two legendaries and one raid toon.
You never did that.
Because, ugh, why bother if one day you can simply step forward and say "Alright, they've had it for long enough, now devs pls make these easy-peasy obtainable toons stomp that cool raid/legendaries like Mac Truck, and I'll be happy, and btw I don't care it's against canon".
Great way of thinking, dude.
Do you have insight into history of metas in this game? It hasn't been the hardest to get team always is at the top.- Darth_DeVito7 years agoSeasoned Ace

- General Grievous, a cyborg that got pretty much soloed by a single jedi in canon... As a counter for a best jedi there is?
Not by just any Jedi but by Obi-Wan, the Jedi Master who bested the chosen one. Besides, the prequels don't do Grievous justice. He was a veritable Jedi killing machine in the 2003 Clone Wars series and also seemed pretty capable in the 3D-animated show from 2008. - Darth_DeVito7 years agoSeasoned Ace

- Actually, if droids were so good then why would good old Palps need Vader to bring Jedi Order down?
Palpatine needed the public and the Senate to believe that the Separatist army had been defeated by the Galactic Republic, which was about to become the Galactic Empire. Plus, the droid factories on Geonosis had been destroyed in the war and the population was later wiped out by the Empire in order to keep the Death Star secret. - Yes, this faction definitely looks like it's going to be part of the meta. Well have to wait, and see what mechanics the droideka, magnaguard, and reworked grievous brings. But because Revans abilities were so micro adjusted to counter every major character and mechanic in the game (super obnoxious); its hard to imagine a faction without stealth or revives countering the revan lead jedi.

This is a strong maybe. As always the next meta has less to do with what the current meta is than how well they will do on defense.
It's almost without doubt they will have some aspects of their kits built to counter revan. So at a minimum we will get another option in arena and a viable counter elsewhere
I am getting less confident about this, now that we are starting to see kits. Unless GG or droideka have some crazy kits, I just dont see droids hanging around top arena spots.
They are relying too much on TM gain and debuffs. There is a reason palp lead went to the wayside."Nauros;c-1770641" wrote:

That reason is Bastila and she isn't used as a leader anymore, B2 can dispel Revan's tenacity up and get it running. But yeah, that alone isn't enough to make them viable.
Magna and grievous rework, plus the droideka release are still to come. I'm not writing off the droids just yet. They're of to a good start with b1 & b2 imo. Hopefully it all comes together with those last 3 to atleast make the viable.- We know that Magnaguard & Grievous each have 1 new ability (or reanimated abilities), so those should shake things up a bit. Combine what I assume to be a tanky leader with B1's assists and you also have a very survivable team - even at 3 stars B1 will still have 1 health so it can be used from almost the get-go

Tenacity up and a lot of cleansing is the reason he never came back around with revan too.
Seeing the same issues here for the droids. Yeah, just not as hopeful as I was before.
