Yeah time to make Revan disappear......a second rate character who doesnt hold a candle to Yoda or Kenobi needs to go away. Plus I feel like I'm going blind when I enter arena and see nothing but a white robed cult leader in every single spot
Um, he kinda single handedly won the entire sith vs republic war. (in addition to winning the Mandalorian war)
Did yoda do that? Kenobi? If my memory serves, they were both present and helpless when the sith took over the galaxy..
Seeing as, in canon, we don't know anything about those wars, he didn't do that either.
Screw canon. That gave us TLJ.
It also got rid of all the garbage from the EU. Also TLJ was good. It had dumb parts but literally every single Star Wars film has had worse.
Difference is, the other films also had good parts. TLJ did not have any of those.
Must suck to be you if you couldn't enjoy a genuinely beautiful movie that had at the very minimum excellent acting and a great storyline focused on Rey/Luke/Kylo. The rest was just filler but comparing that filler to AOTC and saying TLJ is worse is objectively incorrect.
No one ever said AOTC was overall better than TLJ. It’s just that AOTC has some things that people want to go back and see. The fight scenes were amazing, and.... well that’s it pretty much. TLJ has plenty of dumb, boring, and pointless stuff in it, but has no silver lining to look back on. The fight scenes are terribly coriagraphed, the character motivations outside of kylo ren make no sense, and all of the things tying the series back to the OT are dead by the end of the movie or are ignored. If people are too blind to see the flaws in this movie then there’s nothing we can do to help them.
Except you are saying that AOTC has a reason to watch it thus you are saying it's overall better. The throne room scene was fantastic, Holdo's suicide run was stunning and everything with Kylo/Rey/Luke was at the very least entertaining. Yes, the Resistance third of the movie was dull, but that doesn't mean all of it is, which, in case you can't tell, I'm saying the movie has flaws. I've said the movie has flaws. The only blind people here are the people who say it has no redeeming qualities."Darth_DeVito;c-1770571" wrote:

Not by just any Jedi but by Obi-Wan, the Jedi Master who bested the chosen one. Besides, the prequels don't do Grievous justice. He was a veritable Jedi killing machine in the 2003 Clone Wars series and also seemed pretty capable in the 3D-animated show from 2008.
In both shows Dooku says that Grievous is no match for a Jedi head to head and that he needs to use fear and intimidation tactics to even the match. In 2003 we only saw his fights after thoroughly intimidating his opponents, in the movies and the '08 show we see a lot of times when he's up against Kenobi, who doesn't afraid of anything."Nauros;c-1770663" wrote:

This is a strong maybe. As always the next meta has less to do with what the current meta is than how well they will do on defense.
It's almost without doubt they will have some aspects of their kits built to counter revan. So at a minimum we will get another option in arena and a viable counter elsewhere
I am getting less confident about this, now that we are starting to see kits. Unless GG or droideka have some crazy kits, I just dont see droids hanging around top arena spots.
They are relying too much on TM gain and debuffs. There is a reason palp lead went to the wayside.
That reason is Bastila and she isn't used as a leader anymore, B2 can dispel Revan's tenacity up and get it running. But yeah, that alone isn't enough to make them viable.
Tenacity up and a lot of cleansing is the reason he never came back around with revan too.
Seeing the same issues here for the droids. Yeah, just not as hopeful as I was before.
B2 provides arguably better dispel than Sion, though. While it can be evaded, it has lower base cooldown with the possibility of further reduction and buff immunity on top, so I don't see ten up being much of a problem.
Yes, but the auto cleans of traya makes the team better. AB or stun on B2 shuts that down.
I'm not writing it off completely, just saying I'm not as hopeful. I agree it's not bad, just not seeing it working in the long run. Much like BH, great team, just not going to be good enough to rock the current meta. Which is fine arena is not everything."Kyno;c-1770752" wrote:

Arena is everything! what are you talking about !?
Honestly though, if the droids aren't atleast viable in arena (read: close to 100% win ratio vs equally modded current meta on offense), it's definately an underwhelming replacement for the sith month. A new TB map which requires them could potentially change my oppinion though.- HKFactory7 years agoNew TravelerArena is everything! what are you talking about !?

If there was a different reliable source of obtaining crystals besides daily activities and arena to make getting my characters faster I’d gladly take it over the arena. I also haven’t lost hope because there are still three more characters to show for the separatist reworks and releases. - It’s obvious they will counter Jedi and be bad against everything else; just like when they reworked Bh and added jango; I could beat traya teams with them but nothing else

He uses intimidation in much the same way his Sith masters do. But we also saw him take on five Jedi at once, at least two of whom were battle-hardened masters (Aayla and Ki-Adi-Mundi), and kill or incapacitate all but one of them. Sure, they were a bit shook up after watching a sixth Jedi die by Grievous... feet actually, not hand, but he nonetheless demonstrated a considerable amount of skill in this encounter. Don't write it off. Grevious kit will determine the strength of this droid team. I really like what i'm seeing from the supporting cast right now. Very excited to see the remaining 3.- I hope so, getting tired of revan mirror. Only been at it a week too. Rather take less crystals daily then this boring sea of buffs crap.

@Darth_DeVito what is this scene from? Ive watched clone wars more than once. Never seen the cartoon version though. Can you point me in right direction?
