I'm pretty sure the Devs said in one of the recent Q&As, that they planned on making Omegas more accessible. I believe the question was about increasing the drops from the Omega Battles(or possibly the challenges, if not both), and while they said they would not increase those drops, there was going to be *some* sort of increase.
I've been farming Death Trooper lately, and I haven't gotten a single Omega, and I'm pretty sure I didn't get one from the prior cantina farm I did.
I understand there's a fair amount of ways to obtain them currently, but with the release of Zetas, they are no longer the top material, and we should have a much easier time obtaining a decent, guaranteed amount of them.
Nobody is complaining about the lack of the purple mat, and it should basically be the same now with Omegas, just to a somewhat lesser extent.
