OP: No one is saying YOU have to Relic brand new toons.
YOU can keep farming things exactly as you have been.
All this update is doing is allowing folks to CHOOSE if they want to put gear on early instead of waiting till it's 7* which even if I'm refreshing is a 3 month farm after going 2 months before the character hit a node.
