Young Anakin Skywalker Character Kit Concept

I really like the Padawan Slave dynamic this kit has going on. It's a cool idea that works rather well, even if some effect are a tad overturned (2 turn cooldown increase on a 3 turn cooldown special is too much). At least until I got to the Unique. Honestly, I hate that unique.

Let's start with the most broken effect of the entire unique: All the bonusses the team gets when the Handmaiden Decoy is active. Seriously? Just straight up no targeting or damage while they are active? That is way too broken a benefit. This will straight up counter a lot of Gl's. But the worst part is that it's so broken, it punishes Queen Amidala. Ascension Gun grants a lot of buffs to allies when it is used while the Handmaiden Decoy is active. This is meant to be a reward for managing to keep the decoy alive. but with Young Anakin, it's a punishment. Not only is the stealth Ascension Gun grants worthless now due to the no target effect, but the buffs it grants can't stack up to the other effect. Remember: Queen Amidala gains a bonus turn when the decoy is defeated. So if Ascension Gun is available, decoy can be brought back immediately. Thus, using it while the decoy is active straight up a trap. Why is an ally making her special worse? There's also the 15 speed. Queen's Protection stacks already grant speed to all allies, and not a small amount either (+50 for Queen and +100 for all other Galactic Republic allies). Adding even more speed on top of that just feels like overkill. I guess we can at least say there's an Omicron.

My next problem is that the Omicron is terrible. Probably the weakest TW Omicron in the game (Seriously. Farmboy Luke's Omicron is more useful). But even more important: Why a TW omicron? Master Qui-Gon already has a TW Omicron, and a really good one at that (the first effect is literally +100% Max Health for everyone, and it does a lot more after that). Given that Queen Amidala has GA Omicrons and Padawan Obi-Wan has Conquest, I feel that a Territory Battle Omicron would make the most sense.

But this all culminates into what I consider the most disappointing problem: The Padawan bonusses are practically pointless. The Slave bonusses are consistently stronger than the Padawan bonusses. Combine that with the Handmaiden Decoy effects, which are basically hidden Slave Bonusses due to them not doing anything in Padawan teams, and there's basically a "correct" team for this unit. Not 2 nearly equal or at least close teams (which is the case for Luthen). Which is a real shame. Thou to be fair, I don't blame you for this. Designing a kit like this, that is meant to work for 2 teams, is extremely difficult. I'm not even sure I could do it myself (probably not). So this one I can get why it wouldn't work out on a first try. But that's also why I feel it's worth pointing out.

One final little nitpick of mine: It's nothing to do with Young Anakin himself but rather with Queen Amidala teams. Handmaiden Decoy really punishes any Tank from joining the team. This makes the team overly focused on supports. I dislike that, especially since characters like Zeb, Vandor Chewbacca, and GL Leia having proven that a Tank character don't need to taunt to be a good tank. For that reason I wish Young Anakin was a Tank, rather than another support. I get why he is that, but still. With effects like dealing damage based on his Max Health and/or Protection and giving Taunt to allies with Damage Immunity, he could still be a good one IMO. But that's purely personal preference.

Anyway. I hope this feedback helps out. The idea is really creative and has a lot of potential.
