Zerek Mats for Maul Not Possible

Will there be another way to get Zerek materials required to raise the new characters to the level 85 requirement for the new Maul journey event when it arrives? According to the newsletter post, 6 characters will be required at level 85, but after 3 marquee events, I still can't get even one to level 85! Currently Zerek materials are only available during marquees, and are significantly limited. I see the devs eventually adding Zerek materials to the money grab, but right now they're not even available to buy.
