Zeta Future

Totally agree. Based on my own progress from the Challenge and buying in Fleet Shipments, it takes about 3 to 4 weeks for one set of Zeta's. With 2 to 3 new characters a month being introduced with Zeta abilities, it's incredibly difficult to keep-up. Even if you were conservative in your spending and ONLY focused on the characters you want to update most; at 3 to 4 weeks per set that's 2 to 3 months before you can fully utilize those characters and often it's the Zeta that makes them worthwhile in the first place.

Ive been farming from challenges and buying from the shop for a while, I have enough to zeta 2 skills but Im afraid of doing it and regreting it later. If you dont want to give us more Zetas you could set zome kind of "price" to get the Zetas back from the skill we upgraded in case we dont like it. Maybe set a length of time on which we can "change our mind". I dont know, but something should be done about this. I really want to enjoy some of these new skills, they seem fun as hell but Im afraid of regreting it later and getting behind on the game because of it

Just be patient. When they increased the level cap from 70 to 80 we had 3x90 new abilities with Omega so around the need for 75 Omega materials just to max the arena team. I am on the same boat I have only 14/20 on my first Zeta but this does not prevent me from holding my arena rank.

Don't need to throw the zeta's out by any means, the abilities are very cool and essentially resurrect many previously unused players. But the drop rate should be improved a tad. At least one per attempt is reasonable, that's still 2 to 3 weeks instead of 3 to 4. LOL

At first when it was a handful of toons to choose between I can see why it took so long to make the choice. But now that we are getting old toons updated with zeta and new toons introduced with zeta at a high rate it makes it "zeta pinching" on when and who to spend it on

How about the Devs just give you everything you need with no effort involved. Should make things fun. Everyone now has everything.

Honestly it's a problem, but also consider that other than being able to get zetas sooner, whales don't have an advantage in terms of obtaining zetas faster. It's slow for everyone.

It's a grind and it makes the game fun.

Takes me about 2.5 weeks ... farm 12 buy 8. The bigger problem is the ships, the budgeting credits,and lack of darkside drops.

Relax - the top ship challenge is only for level 77+. It's likely that another tier of challenges will be released (alongside hardware abilities?) that will have better drop rates (and likely ship omega mats?)

I think this was a smart play - put a challenge out there to give us a real reason to invest in ships, but keep drop rates low so those who focus on ships don't have unreal advantages at first. As ships progress, they'll probably be more impactful on the rest of the game. But for now, just be glad you are ahead of the majority of players and you now have access "free" (term used loosely) zetas and a jump start in the next tier of challenges.
