Anakin leader "new meta?"

What is it that seems to be making him creep more and more steadily into the top meta teams? Is it his leader ability alone or the character himself is the appeal with the leader as an added bonus even without the clone or Jedi synergy?

    It's his lead and passive ability. He doesn't hit for much normally but his AoE when used after a character dies puts out insane damage. He easily crits for 20k+.

    1. Highly popular character
    2. Good damage, great HP
    3. Debuff adds some utility
    4. Strong leader ability
