Best character for speed down?

My t6 p1 team right now is Teebo lead, QGJ, Chewie, EE and Fives. I have tried Jawa and he seems to be cursed and produces terrible rng so I'm back to Fives. His obvious flaw is the double tap thing which just adds unnecessary tm so I want to switch him out. Any suggestions?

  • Phasma works great for me with her high potency. Coupled with RG for an extra small chance of applying Speed down, it's great. Teebo, QGJ and Rey are my final 3.
  • Fives is great on raids. I just wish I didn't have Omega on his basic. The double Tap increases the Bosses TM

I would stick to Fives as he also calls an assist.

And when you have Rex and QGJ it works great.

RT, speed down with expose, hits harder and faster

I had to look him up, but yes, he actually looks great for those reasons. Increased potency and short CD on his speed down special, when the enemy is already inflicted with any debuff.
  • Phasma, hands down. 90% chance to put speed down and has high potency. Plus her victory march is very useful to give TM when you need to jump Teebo ahead of the Rancor.
  • Fives w/o an Omega on his basic is best. Jawa is also fairly effective but because he does not have an assist he is not as good as Fives.

The Phasma/Dengar combo is also excellent. I find Phasma by herself to be too hit or miss with the long time between attempts but with Dengar and Phasma with complimentary abilities and redundant speed downs makes it so you have it applied fairly easily.

+1 I was forced to swap 5s out too when I Omega'd his basic. Dengar stepped up and has been indispensable ever since. His speed-down is preety reliable and oddly seems to work even if the Rancor has less than 50% TM (bonus!). But his Tenacity-down is a force multiplier for my Teebo, ES and Rex as it reduces the Rancor down to his kinimum 15% resistance chance. He even has an occasional assist on his basic. I can't even begin to imagine the sort of havoc he could reap with Phasma behind him...
