I've tried this a few times, and just double checked it again. Not sure if this is WAI and this guide is wrong, or a bug that needs to be addressed.

Just checked and "Intercept Communications" certainly does not trigger Ackbar's basic assist. Neither does "Spotter" though he does get a targeted assist so I'm not sure if Ackbar would assist there (technically it's an attack, just not from Bodi).Perhaps we should flag it to the devs. Might pop @CG_Kozispoon a message...

The game treats debuffs and other negative effects like tm reduction as an attack...i thought this was pretty well known..

This is honestly one of the biggest issues I have as a player. I wasted a lot of time and energy working on bohdi to pair him Witt AA from this guidance. Just come back and change the wording. You don't have to fix bohdi just take down the false info.

That's what I thought, but neither of Bodhi's specials ever triggers a rebel assist under an Ackbar lead. I've tried this a few times, and just double checked it again. Not sure if this is WAI and this guide is wrong, or a bug that needs to be addressed.

Bohdi: he reduces TM so it shouldn't call assist because it is an attack.

According to the Dev post, "Bohdi has two non-attacking specials and is a Rebel, he’s also a great addition to Akbar lead teams."
Ezra calls one assist normally, under AA he calls two. This can be seen around :25 in the second video when he calls AA twice; also seen around :54 when he calls both STH and AA to assist.

Bodhi's specials won't trigger an assist under Ackbar lead. This has been confirmed by a dev:

I see, good call. However,I think it is fair to say that they should change the original post up above then. It is wrong written as is and should be corrected.
