CLS - what balance to what force?

I have no problem with the power of CLS, even if I don't have him. He helps reduce time on the Rancor and HAAT for my guildmates.
That's just a pity that everybody use him in arena. No diversity anymore, just the same teams. In my top 20, we still have 2 GK + zBariss, one Finn and my Thrawn. In the top 50, it's worth... 5 battles with CLS + R2 + Han are boring.

I'm seeing more people using GK leads or Rex leads again. They still use CLS on the team though

Nope - Rex and Maul hit mid-40s in leader usage at their peaks. CLS going over 60% is a first that I've seen on GG for #1 squads and the gap to #2 is crazy. Take in to account the #2 lead, GK, is only there as a direct counter to CLS and that's the most arena dominating meta we've had since the early stages of the game.

To the OP though, there was no intent to balance CLS. He's the first hero with 6 abilities and 3 zetas. He was created to be a gamebreaker and face of the game. This is SWGoH, take it or leave it.

Its not like they have to nerf him to uselessness...but he's ridiculous as is.

They've already proven that they won't admit that THEY make mistakes...

I'd argue this isn't about him being OP, but that he's a freakin' easy button for otherwise middling sub-top 10 players to stick in their squad and be able to move up in the ranks. That's what I've been seeing a lot of in my shard. CLS = easy button to move up, but none of those guys stick around. He's kind of like the easy button that Rex was ... or Zaul was ... or Wiggs ... etc.

Edit: He is a top 5 toon no doubt, but he's definitely useful to help more folks have a chance at the top than they otherwise would have.

You don't have to pay for anything to unlock CLS...every character you need to unlock him has nodes or can be bought with some free to acquire tokens from shops and you can't straight up buy any CLS shards at all...so that is really a pointless argument.

To be fair, he's the star of star wars, are you really surprised he's the most powerful? Even when they released him, the specifically said he's the most powerful toon ever released.

Luke is just a farmer boy. Vader is the real star. But look at him where is the balance in that?

Not surprised he's powerful.
But a but surprised he can single handedly defeat Vader and Palpatine. Really? He doesn't even measure up to Anakin and yet can slay arguably the most fearsome duo in known galaxy?
