FO vs. Resistance

I am in the same boat, fairly close on both squads. I am working Resistance first because:

(1) Resistance works in P2, P3 and P4 of HAAT, where FO is mostly P2
(2) Resistance takes only 1 zeta, where FO takes 4 for equivalent output
(3) Resistance seems better in arena, although both suck on defense
(4) I have R2 zeta'd, and he can fit for arena or P3 HAAT

From what I have seen, their damage output in HAAT is superior to FO.

I've been reading the same thing about resistance and their usefulness. I guess I will switch over. Won't matter anyway once both teams reach gear level 8. I lost count on how many toons are stuck there. Lol.

This is true.And they are easier to farm. But modding is always tough.

Resistance Trooper and Rey have been a hard farm for me. Really bad RNG on those two in my experience.

Kylo is better than any resistance character imo, but I've heard crazy good things about finn's zeta. So I think the answer is you want both. I'd finish up phasma, Kylo, and FOO (if you haven't already), then start to farm resistance while continuing to farm FOST and FOTP

I prioritized Resistance and don't regret it. zFinn really improved my rank in HAAT. If you favor arena/ship arena, maybe FO first, though. zKylo can fit with a ton of squad set-ups; great transition toon. Also, I just got FOTP to 7* and he has my new favorite ship.

Fotp's ship is awesome.

I run maxed FO in arena, almost have 4th zeta, also use both ships. I can take 1st in squad arena, top 10 in ship arena.
Currently farming Resistance for HAAT, have Rey 7 stars and g11, but the rest only 5-6 stars and g7-8. They are both super fun, although I know Resistance don't really function properly without Finn's zeta.

I found FO Order to be arena viable with Phasma's zeta, although the others keep making them better. They are definitely a squad for purists, the don't work that well as a hybrid with others,although trying out different toons with Phasma and FOST is a blast in GW. They also don't hold well on defense, running anything out of the norm makes you a target and their AI is terrible. That said, there's nothing that feels better than beating meta squads with a niche group.

Overall, I'd say both worth farming for HAAT and they will both almost certainly get some love when TLJ comes out.
