Im 2 pieces away from being able to Zeta first toon. Posted on heretreat earlier wondering whether or not to go zader or zaul. Still determining on which to go with, but was leaning towards zaul because of speed. So my question is: Is Zaul lead viable with only two other viable sith for arena? If so, which two other toons would you run with him?g10 Barris (no zeta) for the cleanseG10, 4* shore for the taunt/damage sponge of the batG10 anakin for his unique G9, 5* kylo for retribution/stun (current toon I'm grinding)Two other sith are ep and vader. I threw nihilus in when I put a zeta on maul, mine was 3* g8 along with sith assassin same star and gear level. Team was zmaul, ep, savage, nihilus and assassin. On the first day I went from mid 40s at payout running ep lead to top 20. Since then I've gotten both nihilus and assassin to g9 and have gotten a #3 payout and usually stay top 10. I was sceptical at first but they have worked out so far so don't underestimate those 2 toons based off of star level. I'm on I believe an oct 16 shard and compete against some spenders (there's at least 1 5* and 1 or 2 7* nihilus in my shard). So imo don't dismiss nihilus, give him a shot, although g9 would be much better he gets a pretty good bump in protection at 9 and 10.

Yeah I'm not skeptical bc of his star level. I've seen some pretty viable teams with him at the level, but he was g10. That's what I'm skeptical about. If I throw him in, I'm afraid he'd be wiped out immediately (especially since I haven't got zaul just yet) and I would immediately be down 1 toon. I want to try him out in a zaul(l), ep, DV, kylo team, but I'm not sure g8 would cut it. Would you throw barris or shore in instead if I've got kylo in?

I've seen people use shore but imo his crit immunity is bad for a maul team but he may be a better meat shield than barris. If you can get dn to g9 he definitely is viable, I've been using him for about a week at g9 with success, just got him to g10 today, his kit is what makes him so good.

Just looked at your roster, you could even try jka he should make a decent meat shield and also do damage, only down side is if you're facing other maul teams he will die fast.

Yeah that's my issue... jka is just waiting to be wiped out from a zaul team. I want to use DN, but he's 5 pieces away from being g9. Unless I get all the pieces in the two raids were about to beat, he's still a long way off

When I got Zaul I used Vader,ep,dooku,boba and struggled to keep top 50 daily. Replaced boba with Zavage after awhile and stay around 20 now. I don't know if that helps in any way at all, but I figured I'd share.

Edit: I tried a few toons instead of boba before that, g11 anakin, g10 GK, g10 yoda. They all got destroyed pretty easily but for some reason ppl avoided me for a couple days each time I swapped.

I haven't got savage or dooku unlocked yet. I was working on upgrading sidious, but could Make the switch to savage since he seems to be a tank/sith cleanser. I guess I know what team I want to go for, I'm just not sure which toons to use in the meantime

The best team I've faced with a Zaul lead is Maul(obviously), Palpatine, Kylo(must zeta him asap but still good without it), Vader, and I would say Nihilus but Sidious would probably be better because of the expose.

Yeah kylo is my next zeta I'm going to farm no matter what. And the last spot is really what I'm concerned about. My sidious isn't the greatest, nihilus is a way off from being g9 and where I'm comfortable bringing him into my arena squad. And I'm currently working on unlockinhabitants savage because facing Zavage is a complete pain in the butt.
