Revan with all his backstory and legendary status among SW fans...
Said it before and will say it again - I have no idea who Revan is.
I had to look it up, he’s from another game.
"Legendary status among SW fans" apparently...
:p
A book series as well. But Revan is pretty darn gigantic as far as SW fans that are interested. I am surprised you weren't familiar with the character.
So was Thrawn though, and I only vaguely knew who he was before he came to the game.
Again, then you’re not a SW nerd. Which is fine. I’ll bet you don’t know who Eli Vanto is too. Or Canderous Ordo. Again, that’s fine, they are just Star Wars nerd basics in my opinion.
Uh, I believe I said I vaguely knew who Thrawn was then, a year ago. Since he was added to the game, I went and looked his books up, read 2/3 of the original trilogy (I'm currently on the third), his canon novel, saw Rebels, read the one that explained his first contact with the Republic, and am going to read the sequel to the canon novel as soon as I can get it from the library. Also, I'm a 33 year old woman and don't need you telling me that I'm not a 'SW nerd' because I wasn't willing to wade through dozens of conflicting novels/comics when I've been watching the movies since I was a child.- NotRealUltraSeasoned NewcomerRevan is a dude, bro

Fin. - There are a great many people who have never read Splinter on the Minds Eye, the first official non-canon paperback written after Star Wars written in 1978 by Alan Dean Foster. Then we got the Han Solo Adventures and Droids Cartoon, and the Lando book series. 1991 was when Heir to the Empire came out which also was set after Dark Horses Dark Empire, but did not officially recognize it. Thrawn has been around for a very long time. Rebels canonized Thrawn and the season finale sent him to parts unknown. It is very possible a Heir to the Empire type story could happen since at the end of Rebels shows the Battle of Endor and neither Thrawn nor Ezra has returned.
As time goes on and more Disney shows are produced for TV and the cinema more legends may be realized as canon. No one is any type of loser or non Star Wars fan for not following the thousands of comics, publications, short stories and cartoons released since 1977. Half of you were not even around to have been able to read even a fraction of what came prior. Remember the marvel rabbit pilot? Lady Vader? The fact that Leia fights Vader while Luke was incapacitated and then Luke is possessed by Ben to fight Vader to a draw. Or that Kaiburr crystals were first introduced in 1978 prior to anything Lucas or his wife had written.

Been following Star Wars since ‘84. Saw ROTJ in the theater when I was a kid. Have seen every movie in the theater since. Tradition. Have many of the Dark Horse comics. Still don’t know who Revan is. Don’t care either as long as it isn’t another Han. Multiple variations of characters is a sign the well is running dry imo.

Uuuuh, yeah no. Anyone who saw ROTJ in the theater is generation X.
On Topic: Of course HK-47 following up a GMY rework means...
TUSKEN REWORK!!!
But seriously, the only thing that makes sense of the theories I've seen is a droid rework. Old Republic Jedi... Yeah.. then why do the opposite character?
No reason at all? That doesn't fit the pattern they've been following for a while.
Revan? We just had a big Sith rework, and when he comes into the game he will likely be dark side Sith. Devs stated at one point they were more or less strongly against releasing a light and dark side character, they were all going to be one or the other, so more Sith isn't likely to be on the agenda at this point.
Droids is the only one that makes sense. Most of the original droids (HK, 100, 86) have never been tampered with as far as I know. B2 is also sorely outdated. GG sucked upon release and has never been updated. 88 got an update but could still use some more enhancement.
We're also way overdue for a darkside legendary event. Imagine a dark side droid rework with a new legendary for droideka? I expect to see target lock on a lot more droids after this month.
I mean the light side droids are all fairly good. Chopper's already had a rework. K2 could do with a slightly better mechanic, but other than that. it's only the dark side droids that are lackluster. Though maybe some target lock synergy might befall them as well.- I think it’s a droid rework or addition as well. HK would be useful for the lead. I’m thinking it’s just Grievous rework but it could be anything.
One reason I believe this though is that L3 is actually a heck of a tank, and he’s about to go to shipments where CG can profit off him. And droid team needs him. I think he’s amazing, but nobody is using him because they can’t take advantage of Scoundrel/Droid synergy. Droids are right on the cusp of being really, really good. L3 is an awesome tank. BB-8 is a great secondary tank/support and can make the entire team go first. There are some other decent prices. A new high powered droid could really impact the meta. Why don't we get a Galen Erso or Saw Gerera? They are at least more relevant right now than a legends character.
C3-PO?
- there is 99% probability it wants us to help him.
- What’s the rest 1%?
- he is just looking for troubles. Can I blast him now, master?- “Die, Meatbag, Die!!!”
