How to maximise Geos...(secondary fleet)

My main fleet is Rebels....7* Ships, 7* G11 characters with Omegas
However, I need to unlock the final ship ability challenge! (I need Tarkins ship at 6*)
I’ve got the minimums:
All 3 Geos, Kylos ship, TFP and FOTP

I’m “hoping” that focusing on the 3 Geos will allow me to just blow the 6* challenge up?
I’ve got 6* ships, but only 5* pilots....
Those pilots are G8, lvl 7 abilities, and 5* lvl 15 mods.

What’s the most efficient way to strengthen these 3?
1) Focused farming to 6* (easy except for Sun Fac)
2) Throwing on Omega mats
3) Push Gear to G9 or higher?

Thanks!
  • I'm July 16. Mostly thrawn & tarkin on mine. Tarkin is biggest problem for me with his ability block. Not many using biggs anymore.

Anything/Everything that elevates the individual character galactic power will carry over to improve each ship's power, which will improve its various abilities as you move the gp up past certain "milestones." So, you just need to figure out what changes you can make will give you the biggest boost. Generally, that comes from raising gear levels. However, everything else helps, too. A zeta raises a toon's gp by around 2,500, I think. Applying an Omega raises it by a couple hundred. Not sure what adding a star level does, but it'll help. You'd probably need to go to crouching rancor, or swgoh.gg to see if you can figure out the exact changes, if it's that important to you.

The gist of it is that you ought to improve every aspect of those Geonosians as possible, in order to gain the most gp out of all three of them, which will boost their ships as much as possible.

Need to be under Ackbar - he gives bonus for out of turn attacks, and he's fast so his aoe attack that calls 2 allies can wipe out all but the toughest tank

Nah they work great with any capital ship other than the Endurance. Chimaera gives bonus crit damage to all allies whether they're attacking out of turn or not.
Executrix works great with Geos but you really need tarkin's fleet bonus ability maxed so that they get 20% TM upon any death.

Nah they work far better under ackbar. Then Thrawn then tarkin

Very noticeable difference. Under ackbar the reserve tank gets called before you kill sunfac 70 percent of the time. Under thrawn only 30-40 percent of the time. Under tarkin around 20 percent.

That is the true strength of the geo team. Hiding behind two tanks.

So if you're running Geos you want to start with the 3 of them with another tank on the bench?

  • @TarlaBille You can, although I'm not sure it's really necessary. I'm still gearing and farming mine up, before swapping them into the Fleet Arena team, but my plan is start with the 3 Geonosians, then Vader, Phantom, Ghost, and Cassian in reinforcements.

All 3 under Ackbar, with omega on spy. He'll take dmg then he and soldier will stealth making sun fac the only target regardless of him having taunt. Then re-enforce with scimitar and keep up stealth. After that it's situational but my preference is plo koon for the cleanse, heal & prot regen.
  • My ideal will be:
3 Geos with Omega on spy, Scimitar (got to farm Maul.....), Tie Advanced then I’m less sure...
    Probably Phantom...

On offense I normally only need Biggs and Ahsoka to come off the bench to win. Biggs' maxed out reinforce ability will allow you to call an assist right off the bat, and his taunt will relieve some of the pressure on Sun Fac--who sure is tough as nails, but even nails can get pounded. Ahsoka's dispel on entry is good, but her main benefit is the 50% TM and reset on her special when the enemy reinforces. Her self-cleanse is also surprisingly helpful if there are a bunch of debuffs on your team, since that'll give them all counterattacks for more out-of-turn-attack goodness. I think Ahsoka would probably work better under Executrix or Thrawn, since under Ackbar you're reinforcing first--if you can get her out immediately after the enemy brings their first reinforcement out (which is almost always Biggs, Scimitar, or Slave-1) and negate their buffs.

I also use Poe, but I'm thinking of benching him once I get Jedi Consular up to g12. Poe can come in and one-shot a TIE through foresight, but it's happened just enough times that his ability has bugged out and not given its bonus damage and left the target alive that I can't count on him any more. Moreover, I often find that Spy's special plus the accuracy bonus from Soldier will take out the TIE, leaving Poe a bit redundant. Consular will at least give a heal on entrance and another high damage assist.

My fourth reinforcement is Vader, but if I replace anyone it'll probably be him. Vader's ship is very good, but doesn't actually bring anything to this particular table. He's my most powerful ship at the moment, though, so for now he sticks around until I work on a replacement, which will probably be Clone Sgt.
  • Plo Koon is best to re-enforce after scimitar - 40% prot & health restored, clears all debuffs, then grants TM or keeps sun fac taunting. Viable to use him at g9 too.

Cool....I’m currently gearing my Jedi for Arena....switching out my Sith Team! Obviously Plo Koon won’t be in that team BUT heh it’s another Jedi!
My Arena team is going to be
zBastila, zGMY, Ezra, QGJ (He’s G11 and a stand in), Old Ben
QGJ will be replaced by zKanan once he’s ready.
    No Hoda or GK....

If I gear up Ahsoka, Plo Koon for Fleet I’m going to have a lot of extra Jedi....I wonder if I can squeeze a second Territory War Team out of them? Maybe zQGJ, Ahsoka, JKA, zBarriss and someone?
