It won't really work until GG hits G13. Before that he just can't do enough damage.
The ideal team is:
zIG88 lead (HK can also work in a pinch)
BB8 (kinda squishy)
zT3-M4 (Combat Logic zeta required, Master Gearhead helpful but not 100% necessary. As much HP/prot as possible so he dies last)
zGG (unique zeta required, as much health as possible and at least 100% crit chance after 88 lead bonus)
zImperial Probe Droid (zeta not technically necessary but it helps)
Basically BB8 ensures that your whole team gets to go first, you stack up AOE debuffs on everybody and then dispel with IPD to get rid of Malak's taunt. Then use GG's crawl to instagib somebody. Ideally it'll be Bastila, although she tends to be pretty tanky so you may have to squash somebody else depending on how strong your GG is and how strong the other guy's Bastila is.
Then the opposing team will go; what you want to happen is for BB8 to die (he'll taunt when he wiggles on an all-droid team) and for Malak to take at least one turn so he gets 5 stacks of ferocity and shreds his defense. BB8's death will grant GG a bonus turn and reset his cooldowns, so you crawl again and explode Malak.
After that you can just AOE blender everyone else to death as they kill off your droids and feed GG bonus turns. You want T3 as tanky as possible so he stays up and keeps that massive crit damage boost on Grievous.
Just how vital is imp probe Droid. I'm a ways away from him. The rest just needs gear and zetas
Not so. You can change it to r2 or magna.
Worth noting that while true, this configuration is much harder; I actually use R2 myself because my IPD is weak as butts. The lack of a buff cleanse means GG will almost certainly have to hit Malak on his first turn, since your other droids will likely crit him at least once while you're applying all your debuffs. With IPD, his target lock move also removes all buffs so you can use GG's first turn on somebody else and give Malak a chance to get Ferocity on him.
True, but OP has weak IPD :/"Vinniarth;c-1995186" wrote:

Uranium will be your best bet.
It's fairly expensive but manageable
Won’t work against an R7 Malak. Better use hydrogen to be sure.
Why not titanium or Argon"chionophile;c-1996720" wrote:

If you can make a fission or fusion (nuclear) bomb out of titanium or argon, you'd probably win all the science prizes forever.
Or doom the entire planet.
