im confused with this mod speed secondary not upgrading

so i do understand exactly how mods works with how they are supposed to re-roll and such i have plenty of extremely good speed secondary mods but this surprised me.

what i do not understand is that i had a 4 dot green mod transmitter (crit dmg set) lvl 1 with 6 speed secondary and the speed secondary did not hit/reroll at all when it is absolutely supposed to upgrade one time.

it stayed at 6 speed secondary.

anyone ever had this problem or bugg?

im pretty sure it was a level 1 mod since i had sold my junks mods(every mods without speed secondary) before farming for them. so they were all new lvl 1. Yes i was surprised as to seeing 6 on a lvl 1 green as basic secondary without a roll. maybe it is as someone said that it displayed the final value at the start...

but maybe it could be my error but it seemed strange anyway i got enough feedback.

feel free to close thread

  • What is worse is when you get a 5dot gold with 5 speed showing and it never goes up.

4 dot mods cannot start off with 6 Speed secondaries. So if you do have a 6 speed 4 dot mod that was green, it did roll a secondary speed roll.

I'm pretty sure the max speed on a level 1 4-dot mod is 4. You probably just misread the number initially and it got a level 3 roll to make it 6.

You have a chance for it to go up but your chance is limited to only 1x . The other 3 slots take up the 3

    Fixed that for ya,

As for the OP, are you sure it either was at level one, or it didn't go up? If it didn't and it was, def something odd there, however, I've not seen a 6 speed to start on a four dot mod before, I would suspect it was 3+3 or something along those lines, unless it glitched somehow and was displaying the final speed value before you levelled it.

I actually have a 1* secondary speed 12, Potency mod. I think the max speed value is 30 across the board. I don't recall if I received it that way, or if it upgraded.

You upgraded that one. No 1* mods start that high. The 4* mod he has did increase because 4* mods canupgrade to 6 speed, but can't start that high. Just as nobody has a 1* mod that started with 12 speed.
  • Even 5* mods start at a maximum of 5 speed so OP definitely levelled it to level 3 at least to get that 6, and hence why there was no further increment.

These are all correct. The maximum speed any mod can begin with is 5 on a 5* mod, and then 4 on a 4* mod. You upgraded that one likely to lvl 3 to see the speed increase.
