Potency is the ability to resist a negative status effect. Counter chance isn't a negative status effect. In short, no, it wouldn't do anything

It certainly does...and the +25% counter damage, applies to anyone that counters...not just jedi.

Eh? I thought Potency was only useful in determining if debuffs 'stick' to the enemy (and tenacity the chance to resist them)...

So the higher the potency the more likely a counter will happen? And it stacks with aayla counter giving her a chance to double counter.

Potency has nothing to do with IGD's direct or referred counter ability - that's just down to RNG.

Can anybody confirm if IGDs omega counter damage increase is still bugged? I couldn't find any recent information about it anywhere

Potency just helps stick debuffs by reducing their chance to resist. The additional chance to counter is cumulative for jedi under IGD. 65% on Aayla +35% from his lead is a 100% chance. Total of 70% for Kit.

But, anyone under IGD that counterattacks gets the damage boost and it appears to b fixed. I see an offense up buff appear for a split sec whenever anyone counters under IGD.
