Speed secondaries are a good way to hedge. Even bad rng cant stop a super fast team most of the time.

I am going to totally chime in on this. It’s bantha poodoo. A piece of garbage Thrawn withstood a saber strike from Vader totaling 68k. Thrawn had zero protection and a total of 18 debuffs mostly 5-6 stacks, my Thrawn’s fracture, Palp’s shock and Vader’s ability block then many stacks of various bebuffs from Kylo and Tarkin.

My Thrawn took one hit with no debuffs and insta died. Damage is totally RNG. Mitigated damage is total RNG. Still debating how a Thrawn led Vader with 131 speed went before my 191 Vader or how AI Palp with 42% potency stunned all my toons yet my 91% pot Palp could not stun a single target or apply shock to anyone but Thrawn.

Yeah RNG plays the biggest part in this game. Especially with the new raidm exact same JTR team for example can score 2M or 6M even if they stick to the same strategy

If you use ZPalpa team, it's normal.
This team is all about RNG

Moved to strategy section, because even with some RNG dependance like this meta has it's all about the setup and strategy.

G12 changes things but it's not a huge difference in most cases. Your opponent could change mods here and there to overcome most of the gear differences between g11 and g12.

It is usually her expose, and the assist attack’s from BB8 and R2 ... but I agree ... sometimes it is just RNG ...

Fleet rng is way worse. I fight the same 5 guys every day. Sometimes I destroy them, other days I can't kill one ship.

Not always. When enemy vader goes and puts dots on my team, then my rex clears them you have 10 toons standing around with 100% TM. Mods are useless in that scenario.

Until the devs mail us all coins and make us flip them to determine who wins a battle, squad battles are literally not a coin flip.
