- Working on both JE and Dengar at the moment, they appear at about the same frequency for me but GG is uber rare lol

That's the problem in this game. Many people just running up and down mindlessness saying "It's RNG" or "confirmation bias" to justify everything.
It took me to fully level JE way longer than what was expected if the rate of apperance were 1/3. So, it's not RNG. It's like the type/shape of mods or the raid gear, not all have the same probability of drop. In this game some event probability is not random.
Roll a die a thousand times and you'll see the same number come up in long sequences because there are only six possible results. There are half that many raid characters so you're going to see more frequent, even longer sequences.
When you have less than 400 guild currency you don't even look at the store, let alone spend crystals for refreshes, so you aren't seeing the data.
Finally, just to use my anecdotal experience, I was at 70/85 on JE yesterday when our raid ended and put me at ~1600 currency. Of the five shipments since then, four were JE.
Precisely this.
People won't notice the string of good RNG they get because they always focus when it doesn't go in their favor. Hence why whenever someone inevitably mentions "horrible drop rates" you get people who simply state it's RNG because that's what it is. You're always gonna have people join in on their bad RNG too because it's just a mindless circlejerk. Sorry that you had bad RNG but it's bound to happen and it'll happen to all of us.- My guild shop is almost always Dengar, Rey, and Luke. Sometimes one of them leaves and Snowtrooper keeps their seat warm for them. JE pops up about once a week. I actually bought him in shard shop, I was so desperate.

It's not necessarily about it. I have over 8k currency and I'm farming both JE and IGD. None of them appears more than once every four/five days. I've never ran out of guild coins so I know they're rare (at least for me)- Its been a long grind to get Engineer for me. I am at 61/100 right now to 7*. I got 5 shards yesterday but its been sporadic for a couple weeks.
- I seldom see him and seems to be key to making the Jawa team work in the tank raid.

I do not need to roll a die a thousand times to figure out whether is loaded or not. With only 3 possible results, you even need less tries. Actually, following the Pearson chi-square test you need less than 50 rolls to become statistically significant one way or another. Then, you can say "is loaded" or "Let's roll it more until I may see what I want to see and the Devs told me I have to see".
Well, farming JE: it needs to show up a total of 66 times to be fully leveled, so should take 2 months (1/3 of apperance in theory, 3 refreshes a day) so the amount of observations is very high. Took me 3 months, therefore, I believe the die is loaded.
Whether is intentional or a bug, I do not know."JoseIrimia;734061" wrote:

How do you account for everyone else in the thread who is complaining about only getting JE when they want Dengar or GG? Or do you believe that the game specifically knows what YOU are farming and adapts its code to screw you over lol.
Get a grip, its random and there can be streaks."Bossk_Hogg;734084" wrote:

Please, Read my previous comments.
Is not about what you are farming or need. It's about different accounts have a higher probability of some resources, while other have others. This has been reported in raid exclusive rewards: some people have mostly furnace drops, others scanners, others disks...
I do believe in the guild shop may happen something similar.- did s.o. tracked the drop rates ?
