Hi everyone,I was thinking of running JTR, bb8, r2d2, scavenger rey and amilyn hondo. With mods this is the best I can do right now. Does anyone have any suggestions please? Especially the importance of speed and if this setup will do good against palp teams that don't have Traya yet. Once I have everything ready and swapped to JTR setup above. if I were to run crit dmg x4 / 2 potency. I can get up to 98 speed. Another JTR in my arena has 105 speed. My bb8 with my very best speed mods. I want sure if its important to get bb8 the highest over everyone but if I were to use my best x4 speed mods with these 2 health mods that are high up. I can get 130+ speed from it and the other bb8 in my tier has 116 speedR2d2. Speed mods / crit chance. I think up to like +105 speed. The other r2d2 is at 98Scavenger rey with crit dmg / crit chance i can only get up to about +92.Amilyn hondo will use up my other health mods/potency. I can about 90-98+ speed from them.

Do it and tell me how it goes as Im thinking about doing exact same thing. ;)

260 speed ASSUMING the first CDT targets a resistance toon which is 16%TM to JTR.

Traya is a different animal than the other sith for JTR. I didn’t try scav Rey, but have used Holdo and RT with JTR. Unfortunately, since sith cleanse themselves with Traya anywhere in the lineup, holdo’s daze gives you very little (almost no) advantage. Against the classic nightmare team it works, but since Traya is taking over, JTR is generally fading away...

BB8 is my fastest, so I can make JTR go next and ability block/daze the toon of my choosing. Works great most of the time.

EDIT: 130+ speed is pretty great. I'm at 114+ and there's only one on my shard faster from what I've seen. Which reminds me that having a faster BB8 than your opponent's BB8 is a big advantage as well.

So if my bb8 is crazy fast. My JTR speed won't matter right? If JTR is at like 98 speed vs another at like 107. As long as my BB8 is faster will my JTR always win?

Rey gains either 8% or 16% TM when BB8 uses covert data transfer (depends if the random secret intel lands on a Res or non-Res toon). The faster your JTR is the better your chance that she goes next. So the answer depends on the speed of your JTR, the toons you are facing, and some RNG.

To answer your question about empire. I haven’t tried that iteration but my JTR, bb8, r2, CLS, Thrawn handles empire without Traya easily. I would think that iteration would work too given the daze of Holdo although sion could give you problems since you don’t have CLs to prevent sions taunt or thrawn fracture. Key is to kill palps as fast as possible then Zion. After that it is relatively easy. I always ability block Vader first when I can. If it doesn’t work at first sub in cls for scavenger Rey and that should get her done

I gave not faced Traya yet bu t I am assuming it should be the same because Traya will just replace Vader or Thrawn. We will still have the same number of threats. Although I think mass daze will not have much value if Vader is replaced, you will have to deal with Fracture, Isolate and later Annihilate.

The amount of threats did not change, although the way we deal with them may change a bit. And I think JTR squads are very versatile since positions 4 and 5 can be easily adjusted. I see JTR as the new Rex, with only 2 adjustable spots instead of 4.
